New year’s Eve-il

Markets are crowded, stores decorated.
People: wearing nice clothes; seems in a hurry.

She wondered,why?”

They say,it’s new year eve! “.

What’s that?”, she questioned?

“It’s celebrating togetherness, prosperity, love! “, They replied.

Ah! That’s so”;

“It’s stupid, “, ” It’s expensive! “,
she muttered.

It’s midnight;

It’s new year eve! “, people shouted.

Excitement, filled in air reaches her ear.

Out of window, she looked outside.
Black night with colourful sky,
Different fireworks, amazing sounds.

she smiled,

Could it be?

My brother, seeing the same, in far land,
How he is now, it’s been years, we met.

Could it be?

my mother, have time, of her work; watch this glittering ‘thing’,
I guess.

Could it be?

my father, watching with me!
It’s too near from the sky”.

Yet, all these are;
only in my thoughts.
I can think, but can’t feel.”

“This enthusiasm, I saw in others.
People making crazy faces;
Out of joy, with their love”.

How lovely,
if we were together, holding hands, just like them.
I will share, my yesterday’s saved bun.”

“Of course, soup, i stole from bin,
Even little, it will fill our hear!
Of togetherness, of love”.

Different I am,
with the rest”, “who celebrate eve”.

For her it’s eve-il,
which reminds her:
Loneliness;
Dark, silent, empty heart;
Mournful tears.

Yet,
hope in memories.

Couching her body, to avoid cold from the winter breeze;
coming with the eves songs;
silently from the cracked hole, of window.

smiling!, she goes to sleep:

Next Eve-il

“May be!”, “mine new years eve! “.

My Ex- parents’ house

They say I don’t belong here.
I was daughter ‘their’s’ once.

Of this family, by blood, by love.
I grew up, they married me off!

No longer, situation is same.

“I am married”, ” I am someone else’s “.
“I don’t have the say”, ” I can’t nay! “.

Once ‘my room’, is no more, mine.

This land: I planted tree, I trimmed these grasses, now flowered, with dozen fruits.

This balcony,
I cried,in pain; I danced, in rain.

This dine:
I cooked with love, of love, for the love.

So different things have grown.

I look through window; not come inside.

I am a stranger, a passing by.

This structure of wood and bricks,
People said, ‘house’; I ‘home’.

What should I plate it now:
“My ‘ex’ parents house”.

Ego

Ego, a term used to describe: false self glorification. It covers one’s wisdom, decision making qualities, and confuses one between real and reel.
It’s as dangerous as holding a cup of poison on hand while seeking beauty of life.
Ego botcher a person’s persona. It damns ones potential and make him fall for nothing.
It may starts from few achievement by hard work, slowly man forgets this, and start believing in his super- ability;that he is great.
Confidence is seeing the relevance of fact then you believe it, while ego is turning a blind eye, while saying, ‘Aye! ‘.
There lies a thin line between confidence turning into egoistic.
One hardly understands when and where he started loosing himself.

In this situation man even ignores the warning, nature might be giving to him. Nature always forecast itself.
Ego is just like that snake in the garden of God, who made Eve fall for the Apple!.
It makes a man’s inner purity into a halo of lie, and false gratification.
That until broken, or realised man looses his identity sooner or later.

Mother, O Mother!

Mother, o mother!
Why work thee, day and night;
without sleep!
Why thy rest not, in sick or plight!
Why father blames you, for what you done not!
Mother, o mother!

Why hide thou tears, from others!
Why thee not complain your bothers!
Why not shout at brother, who grins and shouts; no matter, where!
Mother, o mother!

Why not aunt, washes her clothes!
Why not grandmother, does her chores!
I feel thou victim, thee not realised,
Or is it because, thou are a ‘mother’!
Mother, o mother!

I put a complain,who made my mother! Who gives love, never receives!
I dare challenge, who shames my mother! Who saves each, never gets saved. Mother, o mother!

Look at thee, thou are the queen, an empire can be built; a kingdom destroyed, Do you know not; The power thy have.

Mother, o ‘dear mother!’

A father’s shoe

Amazed was I, when I met, this creativity,this masterpiece:

He was wearing it carefully: as a multi-dollar brand.
Brown pattern of dirt, washed in mud; Scratches,Zig-zagged; making beautiful patterns.
Ah! A rainbow shoe!
Two ‘C’ shaped ribbons, criss-crossed: red and blue.
Collars rugged, like modern jeans!
Sole, just like a birds nest,
Made from different twigs; enough to support;

Who cares, when it was bought,
All matters it has brought;
Safety to house, love to home.
That’s what’s about, A FATHER’S SHOE!

Monsoon and You

This monsoon, reminds me of you;
Holding hands, dancing;
The midway road, me and you.
A table, acoustic, romance; me and you.
Continuous singing song of melody,
Touching strings of nerves like never before.
Feeling this warmth of calmness, flowering in my senses, all of you.
Droplets caressing my face,wiping tears of memories; me and you.
From fingers to every part; body and soul. This monsoon is all about you.

How does it feel

How does it feel, when only you are left behind your friends and colleagues have a career to boast about!

How does it feel, when you are alone those you loved, became someone else’s beloved!

How does it feel, when it’s 2 Am and whole world has slept, but you can’t!

How does it feel, when you become a question for yourself! and you don’t know why?

And how does it feel, when you don’t even know, what you feel

Mirage in science and life

An outstanding generalised conclusion of science. Refraction and reflection of light.

Has been in consonance, with life as well.

Admiration, attachment and astonishment; Hallo of glittery, uncomfortable aura of likeness. Extreme of perfection, much agony to innovation.

A wonderful covering, draped around. Everything to boast on.

Head to heel, all seen: what one want to see,not what has been.

Soon,

day ends, so the mirage.

Thus ends the miracle.

Love me

From the moments of now,since we begun,
Know me.
when I get afraid of ghosts, after watching night horror movie.
Talk to me.

When I fail, and everyone shuts their door of encouragement to me.
When I am upset because my monthly mood swings is intolerable to others,
Be with me,

When everyone raises their brows on my character and being;
When I have noone to trust, but many to question,
Have faith in me.

When I am old, not pretty anymore;
When I am on my; verge of end, and the god of Death is about to strike his last stroke,
When my dear ones are gone, and I am about so,
Hold me,
When I am done, and you live your own;
When time has passed, and your memory is about to fade,
Remember me
Deep to your heart,

Love me…
